Overview

MUELLER CHRISTENSEN LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Lake Forest, California, to support attorneys in probate and trust litigation. The role combines legal expertise with a friendly, hard-working culture and allows for a mix of in-office and remote work.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft and file probate judicial council forms, petitions, inventories, will contests, and accountings.
  • Gather and manage information about the decedent's assets and debts.
  • Serve as a liaison between beneficiaries, creditors, and court personnel.
  • Assist in distributing assets to beneficiaries.
  • Conduct legal research on the Probate Code and relevant case law.
  • Prepare motions, supporting papers, and pleadings for litigation cases.
  • Organize case files and maintain case management.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits.
