Overview

The Litigation Paralegal position is a hybrid role for a top-tier global law firm located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is a mid-level litigation paralegal with experience in managing complex litigation or arbitration cases and will support attorneys in various legal processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct litigation case management including document and file management
  • Manage case calendaring and discovery support
  • Oversee tasks of junior paralegals and support staff as needed
  • Interact with outside entities to coordinate activities for cases
  • Draft or review legal documents as requested by lawyers
  • Conduct legal research

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 2 years of litigation paralegal experience in an Amlaw100 firm
  • Experience with all stages of litigation and e-discovery database tools
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with cite-checking, Bluebook rules, and California Style Manual preferred
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness for overtime work and business travel
