Job Description Job Description Our client, a highly regarded regional law firm with an office in Tampa, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its collegial litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional who thrives in sophisticated, fast-moving cases and enjoys being closely involved in the preparation, organization, and execution of matters from discovery through trial.The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces while keeping attorneys, clients, deadlines, and case materials on track.Key Responsibilities:Assist with all aspects of trial preparation and attend trials as neededCoordinate scheduling for depositions, hearings, meetings, mediations, and other case-related mattersAssist with and manage the discovery process, including organization and tracking of requests, responses, and supporting materialsConduct document review and maintain organized, accurate case files and litigation materialsManage calendars and monitor important court dates, discovery deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial schedulesPrepare and complete state and federal court filingsConduct legal and factual research to support attorneys throughout the litigation processMaintain timely and professional communication with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in each matterWork closely with attorneys to anticipate upcoming case needs and ensure deadlines and trial preparation remain on trackThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Prior experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably within complex civil litigationHands-on experience with trial preparation and the litigation processStrong understanding of discovery procedures and document managementExperience with state and federal court filing systemsExcellent calendaring, scheduling, and deadline-management skillsStrong legal research and organizational abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneouslyProfessional and responsive communication skillsA proactive work style and the ability to anticipate attorney and case needsStrong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and litigation/document -management systemsWhy This Opportunity?This is an ideal position for a paralegal who genuinely enjoys litigation and wants to be an active part of the case team not simply handling administrative tasks from the sidelines!You'll work closely in a supportive and collegial environment with experienced attorneys on complex matters, assist in preparing cases for trial, and play an important role in keeping litigation moving efficiently from beginning to end.Our client offers a professional and collaborative work environment, interesting and sophisticated litigation, competitive compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to continue building your career with a respected legal team If you're an experienced litigation paralegal who loves the organization, strategy, preparation, and occasional controlled chaos that comes with trial work, we would love to speak with you.Contact SRS today for immediate, highly confidential consideration!
