Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionManage a full litigation docket from intake through resolution, including strategy, discovery, motion practice, and settlementServe as lead in-house counsel on assigned matters with direct ownership of outcomesSupervise and coordinate outside counsel, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with organizational goalsDraft and review pleadings, discovery, motions, settlement agreements, and consent judgmentsOversee and respond to California Proposition 65 Notices of Violation and related enforcement actionsConduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on litigation and regulatory riskParticipate directly in mediations, negotiations, and case resolutionMentor paralegals and legal support staff and manage internal legal workflowsStay current on California law, including Proposition 65 developments, and proactively advise leadershipQualificationsJuris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar license in good standing8+ years of litigation experience, in-house and/or law firmStrong legal writing, research, and case management skillsExperience managing outside counsel and litigation strategyAbility to work independently with minimal oversightWillingness to travel to California as neededWhy You Will Love Working HereYou will be trusted to do meaningful work that matters, with the freedom to run your cases and the support to succeed.
