Kiernan Trebach LLP, a Civil Litigation Defense Law Firm based in Philadelphia, is seeking a Mid-Level Attorney with over 8 years of experience in civil litigation defense. The firm prides itself on effective client representation and aims to foster a diverse and supportive working environment while defending clients from various sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of civil litigation cases from inception to resolution
  • Conduct legal research and analyze data to develop case strategies
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary
  • Defend civil litigation matters including General Liability, Personal Injury, Product Liability, and Professional Liability

Required skills

  • Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.)
  • Active Pennsylvania Bar License
  • Experience with Insurance Defense clients
  • Strong writing skills for motions and legal memoranda
  • Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial
