Overview

MRA Law Group is seeking a passionate and driven Immigration Litigation Attorney to join their fast-growing firm dedicated to U.S. Immigration Law. This role requires a strong commitment to advocacy and leadership, with attorneys representing clients in high-stakes immigration matters that can significantly impact their lives and futures.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS, and the Board of Immigration Appeals
  • Conduct various immigration court appearances including Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies for removal defense and humanitarian relief
  • Prepare and argue motions, briefs, appeals, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex immigration issues
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and interviews
  • Advocate effectively before Immigration Judges and government agencies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Manage a diverse litigation caseload while maintaining professionalism and client service

Required skills

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience
  • Experience appearing before EOIR and handling immigration court proceedings
  • Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, litigation, and research skills
  • Ability to develop legal strategy and manage complex litigation independently
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with attention to detail
  • Additional languages such as Haitian Creole or Portuguese are valued
