The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent analytical and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues. Experience in securities litigation and employment law a plus.Key Responsibilities:Handle all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation and trial/arbitrationDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and develop case strategiesManage discoveryRepresent clients in court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiationsEffectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnelQualifications:Juris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in California3-5 years litigation experienceStrong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skillsExperience managing multiple cases and deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and strong work ethicHigh level of professionalism and ethical standards
