Overview

Keesal, Young & Logan is seeking a motivated litigation attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and advocacy skills, capable of managing cases independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues. Experience in securities litigation and employment law is a plus.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial/arbitration
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
  • Manage discovery
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in California
  • 3-5 years litigation experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience managing multiple cases and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards
