This role involves advocating for clients in education and civil litigation matters, where the outcomes can have a lasting impact. Key responsibilities

  • Advocate for clients in impactful education and civil litigation matters
  • Lead cases from intake through resolution including client consultations, legal research, and court appearances
  • Draft pleadings and motions, and manage discovery and administrative hearings
  • Craft innovative and strategic litigation approaches aligned with each client's goals
  • Collaborate with a dedicated legal team focused on excellence and impact

Required skills

  • Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the California Bar
  • Minimum five years of experience in civil litigation
  • Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Exceptional analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
  • Client-first mindset and passion for justice and advocacy
