Kiernan Trebach LLP is a Civil Litigation Defense Law Firm seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their growing Washington, DC office. The firm focuses on defending various civil matters and has a mission dedicated to maintaining a diverse working environment while prioritizing employee needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Defend a variety of civil litigation defense matters including general liability, personal injury, product liability, and professional liability.
  • Work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial.
  • Write motions and other legal memoranda, and summarize depositions.

Required skills

  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
  • Experience with trial preparation
  • Active Maryland Bar
  • Active District of Columbia Bar or ability to waive into DC Bar
