Underwood Law Firm, P.C. is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 0 to 7 years of experience focused on business, real estate, or family law litigation. The role emphasizes client interactions and court appearances in a collaborative environment that prioritizes mentorship and active legal practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related proceedings
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on case development and client service initiatives

Required skills

  • Active California State Bar membership in good standing
  • California residency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities effectively
  • Prior litigation experience preferred but not required
