Overview

Amber K. Boyd Attorney at Law is seeking a Litigation Attorney to support clients, primarily professionals facing workplace challenges. Key responsibilities

  • Draft EEOC charges and position statements
  • Prepare and file federal complaints
  • Develop case strategy and theory from intake through trial
  • Draft and respond to written discovery
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft and argue motions including summary judgment
  • Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
  • Prepare cases for trial
  • Communicate directly with sophisticated clients
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff

Required skills

  • Licensed and in good standing (Indiana preferred)
  • 2-6 years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal writing and analysis
  • Strategic thinking skills
  • Confidence in depositions or willingness to learn
  • Organizational and deadline-driven skills
  • Coachable with strong emotional intelligence
