Overview

As a Line Cook at Market District, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service by preparing and cooking a variety of food items. This position is about ensuring timely and high-quality food service while being part of a dedicated team that fosters guest loyalty through excellent service.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure food is prepared and served simultaneously and in high quality
  • Understand and employ various cooking methods and procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment for team members and guests
  • Provide outstanding guest service to delight and surprise customers
  • Set up and stock necessary kitchen supplies
  • Prepare food items including chopping vegetables and cutting meat
  • Cooperate with other restaurant staff during food preparation
  • Follow instructions from the Executive Chef
  • Clean kitchen and handle leftover food appropriately
  • Adhere to standard portion sizes and cooking methods

Required skills

  • 6 months to 1 year of food service experience
