Overview

SSP America is seeking a Line Cook for their operations at the Salt Lake City International Airport. This role involves preparing delicious dishes, managing kitchen setup, and maintaining food quality, all in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have prior experience as a Line Cook or Wok Cook in a professional setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
  • Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment
  • Maintain stock, cutting, and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • Take responsibility for quality of products served
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor
