Overview

SSP is seeking a Line Cook for their restaurant portfolio at the Pittsburgh Airport, such as Bad Egg and Mi Casa. This role involves preparing meals, setting up the kitchen, and ensuring a friendly and efficient dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive food orders and prepare dishes for guests
  • Properly set up the kitchen for efficient operations
  • Follow detailed food preparation processes
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

  • One year experience in a food service environment
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Food handlers permit as required by law
  • Brand certification as required
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
