Overview

The Clear Lake Recreation Center is seeking lifeguards for both indoor and outdoor pools. The role involves ensuring the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies, as well as enforcing facility rules and regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies
  • Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations
  • Inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor
  • Complete records and reports
  • Participate in regular in-service training sessions
  • Exercise regularly to maintain fitness level

Required skills

  • Lifeguarding
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Emergency response skills
  • Thorough knowledge of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
