Seasonal position, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. depending on the weather. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and ensure the safety of bathers Perform rescues and first aid as needed Raising public awareness about safety measures to adopt around the pool and in the water. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: National Lifeguard Certificate issued by the Lifesaving Society, dated no more than 2 years ago Canadian Red Cross Society water safety instructor certificate and Royal Canadian Lifesaving Society instructor certificate dated no more than 2 years ago (asset) First Aid Training - General (16 hours) dated no more than 3 years ago. 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Group insurance Human management approach JOB STATUS: Temporary: Part Time JOB SCHEDULE: Day time
