Overview

Job Description: HR client is seeking a Licensing Specialist to join their team for a 3-4 month contract. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong administrative skills. Previous licensing experience is required. Contract role for 3-4 months Hybrid schedule: 2 days/week onsite in NYC Pay rate: $35-40/hr Key Responsibilities & Duties Manage state license renewals, including application preparation, review, and filing with agencies. Coordinate with team analysts for reporting automation and data collection tasks. Complete quarterly reporting and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders. Handle state additions and terminations, updating internal records and eFile systems. Manage surety bond renewals and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with regulatory managers to ensure accurate and efficient license management. Provide support during onsite training sessions to align with organizational goals. Ensure all licensing activities adhere to applicable regulations and policies.Job Requirements Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business and product license registration. Proficiency in managing state license renewals and regulatory compliance processes. Strong organizational skills to handle reporting, data collection, and automation tasks. Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite training requirements. Experience with eFile systems and internal record management preferred. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination and follow-up. Knowledge of surety bond renewals and state additions/terminations processes.
