Since 1948, we have provided compassionate, innovative services across Chicagoland and Central Illinois, including community living, behavioral health, employment services, respite care, and foster care.Position SummaryThe Licensing Representative is responsible for evaluating, licensing, and monitoring foster homes to ensure compliance with DCFS regulations, state laws, and federal standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for foster parents throughout the licensing process and ongoing monitoring.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct foster home studies, interviews, inspections, and licensing reviewsMonitor compliance with DCFS standards and state regulationsPerform home visits and investigate licensing concernsProvide guidance and support to foster parentsMaintain accurate documentation and collaborate with internal and external partnersPrepare licensing recommendations and reportsThe requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
