Overview

USAA is seeking dedicated Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Representatives to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role emphasizes customer service and sales within USAA Property & Casualty personal line products, where representatives will assist members with new and existing policies, focusing on maximizing coverage and providing exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

  • Maximize Property & Casualty sales potential by handling member inquiries and identifying cross-selling opportunities
  • Assist members with insurance quotes, binding new business, policy changes, and billing queries
  • Provide accurate advice and solutions for insurance products based on member needs
  • Navigate multiple systems efficiently in a contact center environment while maintaining engagement with members
  • Maintain required Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations
  • Ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills by phone and email
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with multiple business applications
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements
  • 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment
  • Experience communicating with customers by phone, email, or face-to-face
  • Ability to acquire Property & Casualty licenses within 90 days of hire
