Overview

Inspir Carnegie Hill LLC is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for weekend shifts in New York, New York. In this role, you will provide nursing care to residents and support their well-being in a luxury senior living environment. This position requires strong patient care skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors
  • Coordinate and deliver nursing care within the scope of an LPN
  • Administer and manage medications, including oral medications and injections
  • Supervise care provided by Home Health Aides and Resident Care Associates
  • Document care and services in electronic health records
  • Assist in training and orientation of Resident Care staff
  • Report significant incidents or changes in residents' conditions to nursing leadership
  • Participate in scheduled in-service programs and staff meetings
  • Follow all safety practices and emergency procedures

Required skills

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in New York
  • Associates degree or equivalent clinical experience in nursing
  • Two years of full-time clinical experience, with at least one year in a relevant health care setting
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification
  • Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
