Job Description

Overview

Provider Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in an inpatient Behavioral Health setting in Kingman, Arizona. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, and capable of managing patient safety and interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform assessments and treatments for patients with substance abuse, severe mental illness, and/or intellectual disabilities
  • Gather information on the needs and duration of care for severely mentally ill and/or intellectually disabled patients
  • Collaborate with RN supervisor on patient care and safety duties
  • De-escalate patients and address safety concerns

Required skills

  • Current Arizona LPN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience performing Accu-Cheks
  • 1-3 years of experience in psychiatric health nursing
  • Team collaboration
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
