Work Environment As an onsite practitioner within our rehabilitation facility, you will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, case managers, and mental health specialists. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.Implement and adjust intervention strategies aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall physical function.Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive treatment approach and effective information sharing.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve established rehabilitation goals.Provide education and support for patients and families regarding rehabilitation processes, exercises, and healthy lifestyle choices.Document treatment interventions and patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards.Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry advancements. Patient Population / Client Focus The rehabilitation facility primarily serves adults experiencing a variety of physical health challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. You will have the chance to work with a diverse patient base, offering therapeutic care that enhances their physical capabilities and promotes independence. QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, pathophysiology, and therapeutic techniques.Demonstrated skills in patient assessment and evidence-based treatment planning.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building therapeutic relationships with patients.Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic health record (EHR) systems. Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is highly desirable.Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and understanding of multidisciplinary approaches in rehabilitation.Experience providing patient education and managing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
