Overview

Rafaeli Law PLLC is seeking an experienced Legal Case Manager in Fort Lauderdale to handle over 100 active personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This full-time role requires a self-starter who thrives in a high-volume environment and is proficient in using Filevine for case management.

Key responsibilities

  • Independently manage 100+ personal injury cases from intake to resolution using Filevine
  • Communicate proactively with clients on case status, timelines, and next steps
  • Gather, review, and analyze medical records, bills, and treatment summaries
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
  • Negotiate medical liens and bills to maximize client recovery
  • Draft demand letters, settlement packages, and case correspondence
  • Track all deadlines, statutes of limitations, and policy coverage details
  • Interface daily with adjusters across major insurance carriers to move claims forward
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date files and documentation in Filevine at all times

Required skills

  • 5-10 years of case management experience at a plaintiff personal injury firm
  • Proficiency in Filevine
  • In-depth knowledge of PIP, UM/UIM, liability, and bodily injury claims
  • Ability to read and interpret medical records, imaging reports, and provider notes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and adjusters
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of 100+ files independently
  • Strong attention to deadlines, detail, and follow-through
