Overview

Messerli Kramer, a well-established law firm in the Twin Cities since 1965, is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant Supervisor to oversee a team of Legal Assistants in their Plymouth, MN office. This role involves planning, organizing, and supervising workflow while providing training and mentorship to team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct workflow for Legal Assistants
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of legal documents produced by the team
  • Train new staff on office policies and departmental procedures
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching
  • Develop department schedules and manage time-off requests
  • Resolve inquiries and complaints effectively
  • Implement improved operating procedures
  • Compile and report performance data to Legal Manager
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and attorneys
