Job Description

Overview

Instant Teams is looking for a detail-oriented Leave Case Manager to join their remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies, providing guidance to associates and management, and performing crucial clerical duties to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer FMLA policy and review documentation for accuracy
  • Make recommendations to approve or deny FMLA requests based on regulations
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws
  • Assist associates with the leave of absence request process
  • Provide timely support to management and assist with complex LOA situations
  • Process all leave of absence paperwork according to procedures
  • Maintain records of LOA requests and perform data tracking and analysis
  • Generate required reports and support management with special projects

Required skills

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of related experience in disability and absence management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues
  • Knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a heavy caseload
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and advanced data management tools (Excel, OneNote)

  • Training schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST for approximately 8 weeks
  • Post-training schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST
