Overview

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a Leasing Specialist Floater in Albuquerque, NM, to enhance occupancy by leasing units and renewing leases. This role is vital for fostering positive relationships with residents and contributing to a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lease apartments and renew existing leases
  • Convert telephone inquiries to appointments
  • Tour community with prospective residents
  • Send thank-you notes to prospective residents
  • Pre-qualify applicants and review pending applications
  • Notify applicants about the status of their applications
  • Complete move-in paperwork with new residents
  • Deliver move-in gifts and conduct unit walk-throughs
  • Issue keys and manage lease paperwork
  • Assist residents with concerns and maintain positive relations
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones and filing
  • Complete quality control procedures as directed

Required skills

  • 2 years of experience in a service/sales related industry
  • Effective communication skills
  • Self-motivation and a positive sales-driven personality
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
