Overview

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a Leasing Specialist Floater for their Albuquerque, New Mexico team. The role focuses on achieving optimal occupancy by leasing apartments and managing renewals, while contributing to a welcoming environment for both employees and residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Lease apartments and convert telephone traffic to appointments
  • Tour community with prospective residents
  • Send thank-you notes to prospective residents
  • Pre-qualify applicants and review pending applications
  • Notify applicants on status of application and move-in new residents
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely
  • Deliver move-in gifts and conduct walkthroughs prior to move-in
  • Issue keys and renew current resident leases
  • Notify residents regarding lease expiration and review new lease terms
  • Assist residents with concerns to minimize problems
  • Perform general office duties and complete quality control procedures

Required skills

  • Leasing experience preferred
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Effective communication and professionalism
  • Self-motivated with a positive personality and sales motivation
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
  • Physical capability to walk stairs and lift up to 25 pounds
