Overview

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a Leasing Specialist for The Park Apartment Homes in Vancouver, Washington. This role is essential for achieving and maintaining optimum occupancy by leasing units and renewing existing leases while fostering a welcoming work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Lease apartments and convert telephone traffic to appointments
  • Tour the community with prospective residents
  • Send thank-you notes to prospective residents
  • Pre-qualify applicants and review pending applications for approval
  • Notify applicants on the status of their application
  • Move in new residents and review all necessary paperwork
  • Accept payments and understand lease paperwork
  • Deliver move-in gifts and walk units before move-in
  • Issue keys and renew current resident leases
  • Notify residents about lease expirations and discuss new lease terms
  • Complete move-out paperwork and retrieve keys from vacating residents
  • Assist current residents with concerns to minimize problems
  • Maintain positive resident relations and attend resident functions
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, answering phones, and assisting with weekly reports
  • Complete quality control procedures as directed

Required skills
