Overview

NALS Apartment Homes is looking for a Leasing Specialist for their La Mirage Apartment Homes location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role focuses on achieving and maintaining optimal occupancy by leasing apartments and renewing existing leases while fostering a positive environment for both prospective and current residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Lease apartments and convert inquiries into appointments
  • Tour the community with prospective residents
  • Pre-qualify applicants and review pending applications
  • Notify applicants of their application status
  • Facilitate the move-in process for new residents
  • Review lease paperwork and complete necessary documentation
  • Maintain positive relations with current residents and assist with their needs
  • Attend resident functions as required
  • Complete general office duties including receiving phone calls and preparing reports

Required skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service/sales
  • Effective communication skills
  • Self-motivated and sales-oriented
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
