Overview

The Leasing Agent at Ballast will be responsible for leasing apartment units at Park Merced in San Francisco and the Bay Area. This role involves managing leads, conducting property tours, and securing leases while adhering to local fair housing laws.

Key responsibilities

  • Accept and vet leads provided by the office team and post ads on various platforms
  • Track and manage leads for prospective clients
  • Conduct tours of buildings and units for prospective residents
  • Provide applications and follow up on the application process
  • Sign leases with prospective residents
  • Prepare tour reports
  • Explain move-in requirements and necessary funds
  • Understand market rent, design, and neighborhood trends

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate, leasing, or related fields
  • California Real Estate Salesperson or Brokerage license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
