Job Description

Overview

Boeing is seeking a Lean Practitioner to support the 737 North Line Program in Everett, WA. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence through the implementation of lean initiatives that aim to eliminate waste, enhance quality, and reduce process flow times, all while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and systematic problem-solving
  • Support or lead continuous improvement workshops
  • Manage or support lean activities, including project management and data collection
  • Apply Boeing Production System (BPS) standards
  • Maintain a personal development plan to grow lean skills
  • Coach and partner with teams on problem-solving activities
  • Lead or facilitate Lean workshops such as Accelerated Improvement Workshops and Value Stream Mapping
  • Drive lean process improvement projects
  • Demonstrate influence across cross-functional teams

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices
  • 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience using analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Boeing Lean Tool Certifications (PARL: BPSM, AIW, VSM, 3P)
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing systematic problem-solving tools
