Overview

The Lead Teacher at Skaggs Community Hospital Association's Branson Learning Center is responsible for creating a safe and healthy learning environment while promoting the developmental milestones of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. This role requires planning and coordinating both academic and nonacademic activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining communication with parents.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Plan and coordinate academic and nonacademic activities for children
  • Implement learning objectives for all ages of children in care
  • Complete daily tasks such as cleaning and stocking supplies
  • Ensure compliance with state mandated child/staff ratios and regulations
