Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Subsystems Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to join our Air Dominance team in Hazelwood, MO.BDS AD Proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced culture, eagerly take action, set high standards for yourself, honor commitments, strive to be the best and deliver results - this role is for you!Responsibilities will include planning and organizing Environmental Control System (ECS) design work at the program level by developing integrated solutions to establish the system design. This position will be highly CAD oriented, using Teamcenter and NX tool suite, to design and release engineering.Position Responsibilities:Direct the development and documentation of large scale, complex mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system designDevelop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effortInvestigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirementsServe as technical consultant for disposition, corrective actions and coordination with cross-functional groups to identify/implement solutions and drive strategic improvements relative to production processesCoach and mentor othersWork under consultative directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceExperience working with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent.Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software such as Siemens TeamCenter, Dassault Systems ENOVIA, or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
