Overview In this role, you ensure accuracy and quality of Medicaid data within a data warehouse environment. You will validate ETL processes, verify source-to-target mappings, and test data transformations using AI-assisted tools. You'll collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to design test plans and support defect resolution across the development lifecycle. You work on automated data validation scripts and ensure reports reflect correct business information, contributing to reliable healthcare analytics at scale. ResponsibilitiesValidate backend data by comparing source systems to Medicaid Enterprise Data WarehousesVerify source-to-target data mappings and transformation logic for Medicaid datasetsTest data quality standardization and loading accuracyWrite complex SQL queries to validate ETL outputsDesign test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ETL and data warehouse processesCollaborate with ETL developers to resolve defects and perform system, integration, smoke, and regression testingDevelop automated database validation scripts using AI tools, Python, SQLAlchemy, and PandasGain exposure to AI/ML model validation and data pipelines supporting ML workflows Key requirementsDeep proficiency in SQL and relational databasesDirect Medicaid systems experience, HIPAA knowledge, claims eligibility, provider data, or ICD-9/10, CPT, HL7 familiarityStrong ETL/EDW concepts, including Star/Snowflake schemas and Slowly Changing DimensionsMinimum 5 years of QA/testing in data warehouse, ETL, or healthcare analyticsExperience with cloud data platforms and data visualization toolsExperience with AI tools and GitHub for automation and code managementBachelor in Computer Science (or equivalent)Preferred familiarity: Python automation (Pandas, SQLAlchemy) and CI/CD practicesKnowledge of AI-enabled testing approaches and data validation using AI copilotsCollaborative mindsetAttention to detailStrong analytical thinkingSQLSQLAlchemyPandas
