Location: 1717 McKinney Avenue, Suite 1700, Dallas, TX 75202 Position Title: Lead, Research and Data Services (DAL-LRDS-2026A(2)i) Job Description: Provide comprehensive desktop research and Research and Data Services (RDS) to consulting, expert delivery and practice teams. Work as part of project teams to drive research planning, information management, training, and capture of research experience. Conduct business research utilizing desktop resources and business tools to deliver on medium to long-term projects independently. Lead as a topical primary go-to RDS contact of an Industry Team to deliver complex and specialized research. Work with customer senior stakeholders to understand project context and scope the research support. Demonstrate knowledge and effective use of local, regional, and global general and industry / capability specialized data sources and their applications. Deliver accurate, well-organized, and synthesized research results, and advise on research solutions. Maintain regular relationship with internal stakeholders, solicit feedback on research, and resolve issues. Participate in and lead knowledge sharing, training, and relevant projects to continuously enhance skills alongside business growth. Participate in and lead in product and service evaluations and process / tool innovations, and actively contribute in implementation. Lead just-in-time and regular group training for researchers, consulting and consulting support staff, and actively contribute in training materials development, with guidance of supervisor. Enhance industry or subject matter expertise by supporting relevant projects, attending different format of trainings and experience sharing, and participate in internal Practice meetings. Contribute to RDS marketing efforts. Mentor less experienced colleagues. Participate in vendor relationship management to monitor individual contract. Lead regional or global initiatives as assigned with support of supervisor on overall implementation plan. Travel to industry conferences or bi-annual team meetings may be required on an as needed basis. Position is in a fixed location based in the Dallas, TX office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. Job Requirements: Requires a Masters degree in Information Sciences, Business, or a directly related field plus four (4) years of experience conducting business research in consulting, market research, or other professional services. Experience must include: Demonstrated proficiency in the following industries: Technology, Media, and Telecommunications. Experience must include knowledge of industry-specific data sources and understanding of industry dynamic. Managing medium-term projects. Experience in at least three of the following market/information industry databases: - S&P Capital IQ; - D&B Hoovers and Datavision; - LSEG Workspace; - Euromonitor; - Gartner; - IDC; - Forrester; - Omdia; - Factiva; - Profound; - Prequin; and, - Pitchbook. The employer will accept a Bachelors degree plus five (5) years of experience conducting business research in consulting, market research, or other professional services in lieu of Masters plus four (4) years of experience.
