Job Description: Job description Lead Preschool Teacher Full-Time Locations: Upper East Side NYC Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Start Date: As soon as possible (looking for a commitment for the entirety of the school year) We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team in a full-time capacity for the school year. This position is based in a nurturing preschool classroom of 12 students, supported by 2-3 teachers. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required) Preferred Qualifications: New York State Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) NYS Statewide Central Register (SCR) Clearance Department of Investigation (DOI) fingerprinting Current CPR and First Aid certification Prior experience working in a classroom setting Key Attributes: Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Open to learning and implementing new curricula Organized and dependable with a strong commitment to child development Responsibilities: Lead classroom instruction and daily activities Support curriculum planning and implementation Participate in classroom setup, daily routines, and cleaning duties Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environmentOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): We are deeply committed to creating a community where every child, family, and staff member feels seen, valued, and respected.
