Overview

MinistryHub is partnering with Archer's Chapel Church to find a Lead Pastor who is a relational, caring leader passionate about preaching and community engagement. This role involves leading a multi-generational church towards health, outreach, and growth within a loving rural setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Preach and teach Scripture faithfully with practical application.
  • Lead Sunday worship services with preparation and pastoral presence.
  • Provide consistent pastoral care and visit members in need.
  • Build trust through regular presence and genuine care.
  • Collaborate with church leaders and develop ministry systems.
  • Support youth and family engagement within the church.
  • Encourage discipleship through small groups and relational environments.
  • Help the church grow in outreach to the community.

Required skills

  • Strong preaching and teaching skills
  • Experience in pastoral care and visitation
  • Leadership experience, ideally as a lead or senior pastor
  • Ability to develop and encourage volunteers
  • Familiarity with rural or small-community ministry
  • Bachelor's degree required; seminary training preferred
  • Commitment to the authority of Scripture and traditional Christian beliefs
