Overview

Columbus Worthington Air is seeking experienced Residential HVAC Installers for full-time, year-round work. As a Lead HVAC Installation Tech, you will earn between $60,000 to $100,000 per year based on performance, with opportunities for higher earnings and a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

  • Remove and dispose of outdated residential HVAC systems
  • Install, start up, and troubleshoot new HVAC equipment
  • Lead HVAC installations with the support of an assigned helper
  • Ensure installations meet local inspection codes and company standards
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and deliver a professional experience
  • Work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards

Required skills

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Comfortable leading HVAC installs with a helper
  • Working knowledge of local HVAC inspection codes
  • EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics and crawlspaces
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
