Overview

L3Harris is seeking a strategic Lead HR Business Partner to support business leaders within the Missile Defense and Engineering organizations. The role focuses on enhancing business results through effective human capital strategies and collaboration with leadership and HR teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with division HR leader to deliver talent acquisition and engagement strategies
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders to provide counsel on employee matters
  • Identify challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance employee engagement
  • Use metrics and analytics to inform decisions on acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Collaborate to design talent strategies aligned with business goals
  • Drive talent initiatives in succession planning and development
  • Coach leaders on human and technical aspects of the work environment
  • Participate in or lead high-impact projects across HR organization

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in HR
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience (7 with a Graduate Degree or 13 without a degree)
  • Strong business and HR acumen
  • Experience in performance management and employee engagement
  • Ability to influence and consult across all organizational levels
  • Experience with HR metrics and reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Employee relations and investigative experience
