Overview

The Lead House Supervisor at Summerlin Hospital is responsible for promoting and maintaining high-quality patient care by managing total patient care services during assigned shifts. This role involves scheduling, training, orientation, and performance reviews of House Supervisors and staff, along with coaching and counseling in collaboration with nursing leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage activities of total patient care services during assigned shifts
  • Assist with scheduling and training of House Supervisors and other staff
  • Conduct performance reviews for nursing staff
  • Participate in coaching and counseling of staff
  • Ensure adherence to quality patient care standards

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Five years of clinical experience
  • One year of Charge RN experience
  • Proficiency in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Current RN license in Nevada
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care
