Overview

The Lead House Supervisor at Summerlin Hospital oversees total patient care services during assigned shifts. This role involves promoting quality patient care, managing staff activities, and participating in the training and performance evaluation of House Supervisors and other healthcare staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain quality patient care
  • Manage activities of total patient care services during assigned shifts
  • Assist with scheduling, training, orientation, and performance reviews of staff
  • Participate in coaching and counseling of staff
  • Coordinate with CNO/ACNO or designated Clinical Nurse Director

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • BSN required
  • Five years of clinical experience
  • One year as Charge RN
  • Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada
