Overview

The Lead Guest Services Team Member at Pilot Flying J is responsible for overseeing the cashiers during shifts, processing transactions, and ensuring quality customer service. This role supports the broader mission of the company by maintaining operations within a travel center and addressing guest needs effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a shift of cashiers to process all types of transactions
  • Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
  • Follow guidelines for the sale of restricted merchandise
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Use suggested selling methods to promote products
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve team member conflicts
  • Determine break schedules and team member placements
  • Assist with maintaining deli, cleaning showers, and stocking
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and regulations
  • Complete other duties as assigned
