Job Description

Overview

Amazon is seeking Lead Fulfillment Associates to join their operations team in Lebanon, Tennessee. In this role, you will support the fulfillment center by training associates, managing various production duties, and ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. Lead Fulfillment Associates will hold multiple roles, such as Trainer, Process Assistant, and Shipping Clerk, and will be crucial in helping the team meet operational goals while enhancing the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform production duties such as picking/packing orders and ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Communicate instructions and motivate other associates
  • Lead and support daily management of department duties
  • Manage inbound flow and plan inbound arrivals as a Dock Clerk
  • Schedule inbound deliveries and monitor appointments as a Receiving Clerk
  • Coordinate shipments and ensure proper processes are followed as a Shipping Clerk
  • Assist with waste management and compliance as the Regulated Waste Coordinator
  • Monitor robotic floor health and coordinate dispatch as an Amazon Robotics Quarterback
  • Provide data and analytical support as a Data Analyst

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts
  • 1+ year of leadership experience managing others (preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing/distribution/warehousing
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
