Direct Hire - Full Time position in Cincinnati, OH Pay: $142K to $161K based on relevant experience Position ID: 2732 An excellent position with a large defense technology company delivering innovative mission solutions Lead Electrical Engineer Please apply ONLY if you have experience in analog and digital circuit design, power circuit design, and sensor integration United States Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements We can ONLY consider your application if you have: 1: Bachelor's Degree 2: 9+ years of relevant experience (7 with Master's, 13 with no degree) 3: Able to travel: 5-10% 4: Experience in analog and digital circuit design, power circuit design, and sensor integration. 5: Proficient in design with analog components (differential amplifiers, op amps, filters) and digital components (logic gates, timers). 6: Experienced in power supply and converter design. 7: Skilled in using simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) and design software (Altium, PADS). 8: Competent in circuit analysis, module design, and best practices (EMI, ESD protection, DFM). 9: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. 10: Ability to troubleshoot with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators). 11: Able to leads technical projects and produces detailed technical documentation. 12: Experienced in participating in design reviews and root cause analysis. The company's Fuzing & Ordnance Systems designs ruggedized electronics for a variety of military fuzing and ordnance systems. It will require the ability to lead and work within a technical team, as well as independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial. DESIRED (not required) SKILLS: Experience with Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs) and presenting to Safety Review Boards. Knowledge of extreme environmental design and testing with energetic materials. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and refine requirements. Interface with customers and cross-functional teams. Circuit design and component selection, designing ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications Perform simulations and circuit tolerance analyses. Prepare and execute to test plans and generate test reports. Assist in failure investigations using structured methods. Lead team members to achieve program objectives. Mentor less experienced engineers. Prepare materials for and participate in design reviews. Generate engineering change orders. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
