Overview

The University of Illinois Foundation is seeking a Lead Coordinator for its Human Resources team. This role involves supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, data analytics, and HR operations, with the goal of creating a thriving workplace. As a hands-on HR professional, the candidate will work autonomously while making a significant impact on the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding
  • Drive employee engagement and wellness programs
  • Gather and analyze HR metrics and insights
  • Provide day-to-day HR generalist support
  • Collaborate with the HR team to uphold policies and enhance employee experience

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Familiarity with Illinois laws and regulations related to HR
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) desired
