Overview

The Lead CNC Swiss Machine Programmer/Operator at C&L Supreme is responsible for producing custom precision parts using multi-axis Swiss-style CNC Machines while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves operating multiple machines, performing inspections, and ensuring proper tooling and material usage.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate multiple CNC machines throughout the shift to produce parts within required tolerances
  • Inspect precision products using various measuring tools and visual checks
  • Make offset adjustments, sharpen, change, and adjust tooling
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Communicate with set-up personnel and foremen regarding quality and job status

Required skills

  • Experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines or completion of an apprenticeship program
  • Ability to call up programs and offset tools
  • Strong mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and GD&T
  • Familiarity with precision gauges and visual inspection accuracy
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
