The Norfolk Companies is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join their residential remodeling team in Braintree, Massachusetts. This role involves leading kitchen renovation projects and transforming living spaces while working for a family-owned company known for its commitment to craftsmanship and quality since 1934.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead residential remodeling and kitchen renovation projects
  • Install cabinetry, trim, and finish carpentry with precision
  • Perform framing and structural carpentry as needed
  • Deliver exceptional craftsmanship while working in occupied homes
  • Collaborate with project managers and homeowners to ensure successful project completion

Required skills

  • 15+ years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling
  • Extensive experience with kitchen renovations and cabinet installation
  • Strong framing and finish carpentry skills
  • Experience working in occupied homes
  • Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders regularly
  • Strong communication skills and English proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
