Job Description

Overview

The Lead AV Technician at Inter Technologies Corporation is responsible for directing and overseeing a team of technicians in the installation of audio-visual systems. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate various installation tasks across job site locations in the Wyoming and Colorado metropolitan areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee teams in the installation of audio-visual systems
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Train and support level one and two technicians
  • Troubleshoot and repair audio and video equipment installations
  • Move and position heavy equipment and wiring supplies
  • Perform construction tasks related to AV system installations
  • Manage relationships with customer point-of-contacts at various job sites

Required skills

  • 2-4 years of AV team leadership and management experience
  • CTS certification required; CTS-I certification preferred
  • Strong communication and team direction skills
  • Proficiency with Google, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
