You will be responsible for successfully installing our systems for businesses and for homes in the Los Angeles area. Qualifications:Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or other related fieldsWiring skills: cable dressing, cable terminations: rj45, keystones, BNC, RCA, TRS(soldering), XLR, DB9, DB25, etc.Familiarity with telecommunications equipmentPrevious experience with Conferencing System set-upsKnowledge of Smart Home systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsControl4, Crestron, and/or Lutron Programming ExperienceJob descriptionResponsible for daily scheduling of A/V Service StaffCreate and develop daily scopes of work for service techniciansCommunicate effectively with field service technicians in order to assist with the progress of service calls/projectsSupport field technicians, programmers, and commissioning technicians with the service and completion of video and audio conferencing systemsWork closely with other IT departments when overseeing the service of video conferencing systems, new AV systems, and/or installing devices that require network access such as but not limited to AV Components, Smart TVs, CISCO devices, streaming and/or lecture captureMaintain a list of needed improvements to existing installations; prioritize improvement projectsAbility to provide basic over-the-phone troubleshooting to determine best course of action with a client's service requestMonitor project progress and tasks within deadlinesProvide feedback and updates to clients after completion of service callsAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Fiber Certification Company Description One source office and home automation company.
